Is KRITVOX really free?
Yes. Every tool on KRITVOX is free to use for personal and commercial work. There is no trial, no premium tier holding back useful features, and no watermark on your output. The site is supported by advertising, which is what keeps the tools free.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. KRITVOX has no accounts, no logins and no email walls. Open a tool, use it, close the tab — that is the whole flow.
Are my files uploaded anywhere? Is my data safe?
Your files are never uploaded. Every KRITVOX tool runs inside your browser using standard web technologies, so documents, images and text stay on your device. Nothing is transmitted to a KRITVOX server, which means there is nothing for us to store, share or lose.
Is there a file size limit?
KRITVOX imposes no server-side limit, because there is no server involved. The practical limit is your device's memory: on a modern laptop, files of a few hundred megabytes are usually fine, while a low-memory phone may struggle with very large PDFs or high-resolution images. If a big file stalls, try closing other tabs or splitting the work into smaller batches.
Which browsers are supported?
Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave and Opera on desktop and mobile are all supported. Because the tools use modern browser APIs, very old browsers or hardened privacy modes with scripting disabled may not work.
Do the tools work offline?
Once a tool page has loaded, the processing itself needs no internet connection since it runs locally. You do need a connection to load the page in the first place.
How do I report a broken tool or a wrong result?
Use the Report a Bug page. Tell us the tool name, what you expected and what actually happened, plus your browser and device — that is usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it.
Can I request a new tool?
Absolutely, and we build a lot of them from suggestions. Use the Request a Tool page and describe what the tool should do and who it helps.
Is there a mobile app?
Not right now. KRITVOX is web-only and fully responsive, so it works in your phone's browser with nothing to install. You can add it to your home screen for quick access.
Can I use KRITVOX output commercially?
Yes. You keep all rights to the files you process and the results you generate, and you may use them commercially. You are responsible for holding the rights to the content you put into a tool.
