Privacy Policy

KRITVOX tools run entirely inside your web browser. Files, documents, images and text you work on are processed on your own device using standard web technologies. No file you open in a KRITVOX tool is transmitted to, processed by or stored on any KRITVOX server, and we have no technical ability to see it.

We do not require an account, so we hold no names, passwords or profiles. We do not collect or retain the contents of your files, the text you paste into a tool, the values you type into a calculator or the results a tool produces. Because processing is client-side, that data never reaches us in the first place.

Like most websites, KRITVOX may collect limited technical and aggregate usage information to keep the site working and understand which tools people find useful:

• Page views, referring page and which tool pages were opened.
• Browser type and version, operating system, device type and screen size.
• Approximate location derived from IP address at country or region level.
• Preferences you set on the site, stored locally in your browser (for example your cookie consent choice or interface preferences).

This information is used in aggregate for reliability and product decisions. It is not used to build a personal profile of you and it never includes file contents.

KRITVOX uses essential and functional cookies plus browser local storage to remember settings, and our advertising partners may set their own cookies. Full details, including how to disable them, are in our Cookie Policy.

KRITVOX is free to use and may be supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors such as Google use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to KRITVOX or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, review how Google uses data from sites that use its services, or opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info. Advertising partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect and their own privacy policies apply.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:

• Legitimate interests — operating, securing and improving KRITVOX using aggregate technical and usage information.
• Consent — non-essential cookies, including advertising and analytics cookies, which you can grant or refuse in our cookie banner and withdraw at any time in your browser settings.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@kritvox.com and describe your request. Note that because we do not hold accounts or file contents, in many cases we simply have no personal data about you to provide or delete.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and for what purpose, to request deletion of personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

KRITVOX does not sell your personal information and does not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the advertising cookie choices described above. You will never be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. Send requests to support@kritvox.com.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Limited information may be handled by service providers that host the website, deliver assets or serve advertising, each acting under their own terms. Aggregate usage statistics are retained only as long as they remain useful for operating and improving KRITVOX.

KRITVOX is served over HTTPS, and the client-side design is itself our strongest privacy control: data that never leaves your device cannot be intercepted in transit or exposed by a server breach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please keep your own device and browser up to date.

KRITVOX is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@kritvox.com and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as KRITVOX evolves or as the law changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
